I am a storyteller with a passion for building communities, both online and offline. 

My content career began in the social impact space, where I headed PUBLIC Inc’s digital team, tapping into the power of social media to help clients embrace change and push their brands beyond profit and towards purpose. 

Then I brought my multidisciplinary approach to social to the Cossette team where I worked as a Community Manager on McDonald’s Canada, driving the voice of the iconic brand to the 1M+ Canadian audience. 

Next up, at Sid Lee, I worked closely with an incredibly talented team to create breakthrough content and build engaged communities for Maple Leaf Foods, Molson Coors, and Netflix. 

Most recently, I've proudly worked as the Editor at We Are Social, leading social content strategy, editorial campaigns, and pitches while managing a team of Content Writers. I currently lead the Food and Beverage pod, focusing on clients within Campari Group Canada, Upfield, and General Mills. 

Outside of the office, you’ll find me teaching yoga and pilates at Sweat & Tonic, Barre3, Toronto Yoga Co. as well as online with my personal brand Sculpt with Syd

No matter where I am, I’m known to be radiating “morning person” energy, petting other people’s dogs, and genuinely soaking in all the joys that life has to offer.
